Singer, songwriter, musician and teacher, Miriam Lieberman joined Martin Corben in the 702 studios this weekend as our Sunday Performer
Sydney, Musician, Performer and Teacher, Miriam Lieberman performs songs that tell tales, but these stories of living in a shanty town in Africa, or finding an abandoned baby on a train in India, come directly from the people, places and adventures of Miriam’s life.
And although her background is in Latin, African and contemporary folk, Miriam can write in five different languages. She also co-writes puppet theatre and gives workshops to children and adults wherever she performs.
Miriam’s recently released her latest album “Wakeli” meaning “Courage” in the African Susu Language.
And today, Miriam Lieberman is our special guest as the weekends Sunday Performer.
